The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live. Because of the disruption, many people are feeling lonely, bored, and copped up and would want a vacation. But, is it safe to travel?
Renting a vacation home can be done safely provided there are proper precautions taken. According to CDC, it is safer to stay in a house or cabin with people when traveling than staying in hotels.
One of the pros of staying in a cabin is you can cook your own food. You do not need to dine at a restaurant where in some places, restrictions are still in place. All of our cabins have a fully-equipped kitchen so it is easier for our guests to prepare their meals. If you do need to go to a restaurant, there are dining areas a short drive from our cabins.
Located in remotes areas, our cabins provide privacy and do not require guests to interact in public spaces. Checking in is made easier and safer as it is self-check-in. You do not need to go to our office or meet someone to get your keys since the code will be sent to you. Once you have settled into our cabin, it is the same as your own home where you can control all the exposures. Our cabins do not have shared amenities or facilities so you will all have them to yourselves to enjoy during your stay!
Most states have given vacation rentals the green light to operate. If you want to travel, check first if the situation in the place you are going to is getting worse or better. Here in Georgia, there is a downward trajectory of documented cases.
Another attractive reason for renting a cabin is you get to book an entire home where it is sheltered from staff interaction and strangers. Since cabin rentals are more private, there is a lesser chance of being exposed to the coronavirus.
