Minimum Age to Rent
- If renting a cabin larger than one bedroom, the renter must be at least 25 years of age.
- For a one-bedroom cabin, the renter must be at least 21 years of age.
Guest Verification
- All renters must sign this rental agreement and upload a valid driver’s license to confirm their reservation.
- Reservations booked only a few days prior to the stay may require an additional security deposit and further identity verification.
Deposits & Payments
- At booking: 30% of total stay charged to your card.
- Balance: Remaining 70% charged 28 days before arrival.
- Reservations made within 28 days of check-in: Full payment is charged at time of booking
Reservation Change, Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Changes: Call us or email info@cccabins.com to explore available options.
- Cancellations:
- More than 14 business days before arrival: Full refund minus travel insurance cost.
- Within 14 business days: No refund.
- Booking.com exception: No refund if cancelled within 21 days.
Third‑party platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Tripadvisor) handle the payments and refunds directly through their systems.
- We recommend purchasing trip insurance for the final 14 business days before arrival and during your stay.
- We do not provide refunds for early departures or unused nights.
Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance
Trip cancellation insurance helps protect your paid reservation in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We cannot refund payments due to:
- Natural disasters (hurricanes, storms, road closures)
- Inclement weather or power outages
- Illness or injury of any traveling party member
Early Check-In
- Request at least 24 hours before arrival via email to info@cccabins.com.
- If approved, a $50 early check-in fee applies.
Check-In / Check-Out, Directions & Key Codes
- Check-In: 4:00 PM
- Check-Out: 11:00 AM (late check-out fee: $200/hr after 11:00 AM)
- Arrival window: 4:00–6:00 PM (staff availability: Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Sat 9:00 AM– 1:00 PM).
- Directions and entry code are emailed no later than 7 days before arrival.
- Contactless check-in: Use the provided code to unlock and relock the cabin door. Print directions in case of unreliable GPS service.
Pet (Dog) Policy
- Only pet-friendly cabins allow dogs (up to two dogs, max 80 lbs each).
- Pet fee: $30 per pet per night (non-refundable).
- Charges for damages or excessive pet hair:
– Comforters/rugs: billed at $75+ per item
– Sheets: $50 per set
– Other damages assessed case by case - Pets must be crated when left alone; waste must be picked up on the property
Undeclared Pets & Additional Cleaning
We are happy to welcome pets in designated pet-friendly cabins, provided all pets are declared at the time of booking and the applicable pet fees are paid. If a pet is not disclosed in advance and evidence of a pet is found during or after your stay (including pet hair, odor, or damage), Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals reserves the right to:
- Charge double the standard pet fee to cover additional cleaning and sanitation costs, or
- Require immediate removal of the pet, and in serious cases, terminate the stay without refund if the pet violates house rules or causes disruption or damage.
This policy helps us maintain a clean, comfortable environment for all guests, including those with allergies, and ensures fairness to guests who properly declare their pets.
We appreciate your honesty and cooperation in helping us provide the best possible experience for everyone.
General Cabin Guidelines
- Parking: 2 cars for 1–2 bedrooms; 3 cars for 3–4 bedrooms. Extra cars require approval.
- TVs: Stream with your own credentials.
- Laundry: Washer, dryer, and sample detergent provided; bring extra if needed.
- Linens & Towels: Provided per guest count. Replacement fees apply ($10/towel, $25/sheet).
- Supplies that we provide: Trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap provided; bring your own personal toiletries.
- Smoking: Strictly prohibited indoors (violation fee: $250 + eviction); allowed outdoors 30 feet from the cabin.
- Quiet Enjoyment: Cedar Creek reserves the right to remove disruptive guests without refund.
Internet & Cleanliness
- WiFi: Network matches your cabin name; no password required.
- Cleanliness: Leave the cabin reasonably clean (dishes, grill, fireplace, trash). Additional cleaning fees may apply
- Prohibited: Firearms, flushing sanitary napkins.
- Lost & Found: We’ll return items at your expense plus a small handling fee.
- Thermostats: Many cabins have smart thermostats; see cabin binder or QR code for instructions.
Hot Tub Usage
- Hot tubs are drained, refilled, and sanitized before each stay
- Heating may take 4–6 hours; some may not reach operating temperature until 10 PM on arrival day
- Well water minerals may discolor water; cleaning screens provided.
Firewood Service
- Price: $12 per bundle (4–6 sticks), $2 per starter stick.
- Delivered to door before arrival.
- Order via email; charges posted to your card or booking platform.
Outdoor Insect Awareness
- The natural environment may harbor biting bugs (no‑see‑ums, mites, fleas, chiggers).
- We recommend using insect repellent and avoiding swamps, standing water, heavy pine straw, and thick vegetation.
- Monthly professional bug prevention and housekeeping services are conducted.
- Report any insect concerns during your stay so our technician can inspect promptly.
Liability Disclaimer
Renters agree to hold Cedar Creek Rentals, LLC harmless for any loss or damage due to use or misuse of the property, fixtures, or grounds. Cedar Creek Cabins, LLC acts solely as agent for the property owner and assumes no liability beyond that role.
