How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made either online or by calling one of our friendly rental agents at (770) 952-4130. For online reservations, follow the instructions for the two questions above.

Are there any other fees associated with a rental?
Yes, the cabin base rate is shown when looking at what is available, however there are additional fees (cleaning, tax, and accidental damage protection) and it varies per cabin. The cabin price is base on a specific number of guests depending on the cabin. Please count the number of guests based on the number requiring beds. Additional guests over the base rate is calculated per night.   Infants using pack in play do not count in the total. This covers the cost of extra towels, linens, and cleaning to cover extra guests. While on the cabin page, click on "calculate total cost" to see a break down to include tax, cleaning, extra guests. If you have a pet, please put that on the rental agreement as we will add $50 per pet. Pet fees are a one- time fee.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover (sorry no American Express).

Can I pay by a check or money order?
Yes, but you will still have to provnamee a credit card at the time of reservation. Your payment must then be put in the mail the next business day after the reservation is made. These methods of payment are not acceptable if your reservation is made less than 10 days in advance.

When is payment due?
At the time of reservation 50% of the total will be charged to the credit card on file - if you are planning on paying by check or money order please be sure to notify the rental agent and get the check in the mail no later than the next business day. The balance of your reservation (the remaining 50%) will be charged to the credit card on file 7 days prior to your arrival - if you plan on paying this portion by check we must receive it no less than 8 days prior to your arrival (please notify us if this is your intention).

What is Accidental Damage Protection(security deposit protection)?
The cabins we manage range up to $450,000 in value. Rather than hold $200 security, we now waive that and charge $30 for this protection while you are staying at the cabin. This will protect you from accidental damage up to $1500 for you and your guests including children. This gives you piece of mind while staying at the cabin. Notify us of damages and we will take care of the rest. Does not include misconduct or abuse. Click Here for more details.

What is Trip Cancellation Insurance?
This protects you for many things including having to cancel your trip. See details of this insurance: Vacation Rental Insurance.

Do I have to fill out this rental agreement?
YES. Otherwise we can't issue you your lockbox code and you will not be able to obtain the key to your cabin.

I don't have a fax machine, do I really need to fill this out.
Yes, you can also scan email or take a picture of the signature page (must be legible) from your phone and email it to

When will I get my lockbox code?
You will receive your lockbox code between 7 to 14 days prior to your arrival (usually closer to 7), but NOT UNTIL you have faxed (or emailed) a signed copy of the last page of our Rental Agreement.

My reservation is less than a week from now and I haven't received my lockbox code. Why?

1.) You have not sent in your signed rental agreement (please give us 24 hours after you send it to get your lockbox information to you).
2.) Your email provider (especially Yahoo!) will sometimes put our "lockbox email" into a spam or junk folder. Please check them.
3.) If you are sure neither #1 nor #2 is the case, please contact us and we will happy to get the information to you.

How do I get the physical address of my cabin so I can put it in my navigation system?
Your navigation system (no matter how great it is) will most likely not get you to the exact location of your cabin. There are numerous errors for this region in the map database that appears to be shared by all manufacturers as well as Google Maps, MapQuest, etc. You can use your navigation system to get close, but be sure to have a copy of our written directions (at the bottom of each page of the written directions is an address and Google geo coordinates to get you to your cabin with your navigation system).

I did not get the directions. When will you send them to me?
Your confirmation email, as well as your lockbox email has links to the directions on them.

Cedar Creek Cabins does not supply firewood. We do have a third party firewood service that can deliver at a similar rate of any local store. There may be a minimum bundle requirement. Please text Bob (the firewood guy) at 770-718-8180 for more information. He will meet you at the cabin with good burnable wood. The wood must be paid in cash on receipt to Bob. Bob may also help you (for a small fee) to be sure to get the fire started using fire starter logs.
